JOB SUMMARY:

Lantic is currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Planner at the Montreal refinery. Reporting to the Maint e na nce M a na ge r , the incumbent will be responsible for plann ing and s chedul ing preven tive a n d correc tive ma intenance work, as well as planned p rodu c tion shut d ow ns. Th e Planner will actively participat e in pri ori tizing work ord ers with other dep ar tm e nts. Th ey w il l al so monito r the regular ma intenance budge t and justify pr ojec t r eque sts f or equipment as needed .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organ ize, and coordin ate main t ena n c e, m odificat ions, and projec t work in co llab or ation with th e opera tion s departm ent;
• Par tic ip ate i n the d evel op m ent and i m pl e me nt a tion of an a ctive p r ev entive ma inte nanc e p ro gr am and e nsur e i ts dist ribu tion acc ord ing to establish ed f reque ncie s and it s compl e tion;
• Take on systems automation as a main responsibility in order to qu ick ly obt a i n p er form an c e ind i cato r s f or th e ma i n te nanc e de partment;
• Implem e n t simp le to ols with the IT department t o allow t rad e emp loyee s to clos e work o rders d irec tly ;
• C olle ct, compi l e, and analyz e perform an c e d a ta relate d t o ma intena nc e, equ i p ment b r e akd own s, w o rk complet e d, et c. ;
• Participate in the d ev e lo pme n t an d t r a i n ing of u n ion iz ed s t aff and m a in t e n a nce super vi s ors .

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• B ach elor's d egr e e in m e cha nica l or ele c trical engin e e r i ng, o r a colle ge di p l o m a (DEC) or vo ca t ional dipl om a (DEP) i n a fi eld r e l ate d t o main t e na nce;
• F ive (5) years of expe r ie nce i n a s imila r po sit i o n;
• P ro fic i e ncy i n M icrosoft Offic e (Ex cel , W ord, Outlo ok);
• K no wl e dge of comp u terized ma int en ance ma nag eme nt (CMMS) sof tware ;
• Kn o wledge of Maximo sof tw are ( a n asset);
• Exp eri enc e in the f ood indust ry ( an ass e t);
• Exper ience i n a un io n iz ed env ir on ment ( a n as s e t);
• Ability t o m anage mu lt ipl e tasks sim ul t ane ous ly a nd adap t ea sily t o ch ange;
• Abi lit y to manage s tr es s;
