Job Description :

Responsible for installing, inspecting, and testing electrical systems and components. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical controls, alarm systems, generators, motors, and lighting. Installs conduit and wiring for power distribution, communication, and monitoring systems. Ensures compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Coordinates with other departments to support facility operations.

Installs electrical circuitry, wiring, conduit, and apparatus as required.

Connects and wires machines, equipment, and controllers to power supplies.

Plans and updates electrical work on as built drawings.

Performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.

Diagnoses and repairs or replaces malfunctioning electrical and electronic components.

Replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as needed.

Tests malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with maintenance staff for diagnosis.

Assists with maintenance activities and responsibilities as needed.

Acts as a security officer during regular working hours.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent experience

No work experience required

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Applicable state Electrician's license, Driver's license

A. Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs: 3. Intermittent (10% - 50% of the time)

This position requires regular standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittent standing or walking with objects up to 25 pounds; intermittent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects over 50 pounds. Also involves intermittent repetitive motion; intermittent work at heights above 4 feet; occasional work in confined spaces; and some exposure to risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning equipment or materials.
