Electrician

Description:

Electrician/Programmer is responsible for supporting the Mill Manager and Supervisors in their daily job routines. Communicate with and keep Mill Manager and Supervisors informed of all problems and progress towards problem solving. Electrician/Programmer will be responsible for supporting and promoting company policies and procedures. Electrician/Programmer is required to develop and implement preventive maintenance routines to maintain target production levels, maintain critical spare parts inventories, and engage in a maintenance team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Ability to learn troubleshooting skills, basic hydraulics and pneumatics

Install new or replace electrical equipment

Must be able to work overtime and weekends

Maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age

Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

Must be able to work overtime and weekends

Electrical experience required

Basic math and problem-solving skills

Ability to read specifications, drawings, and project information to conceptualize work

Able to use common hand tools and power tools

Effective time management and organizational skills

Proficiency with a computer and PLC's strongly preferred.

Physical ability:

Must be able to work up to 12 hours per shift

Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed

Must be able to pass a drug screen and adhere to a no drug policy

Pay:

$ 28.05 - $ 31.00
