Position OverviewThe Maintenance Manager provides strategic and hands-on leadership for plant maintenance operations and manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment through a balance of proactive preventative maintenance and responsive troubleshooting. Reporting to an engineering leadership function, the position plays a critical role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. Relocation assistance may be available.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the site maintenance team, delivering both reactive and proactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.Oversee preventative maintenance programs, breakdown response, and continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and improve mean time between failure (MTBF).Ensure timely, high-quality completion of maintenance work while supporting production schedules and operational priorities.Develop, implement, and track maintenance KPIs aligned to operational performance, safety, and environmental standards.Drive technical excellence by establishing standard maintenance procedures, policies, and best practices; identify gaps and implement process improvements.Promote and enforce all health, safety, and environmental requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Mentor, train, and develop maintenance team members, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Lead maintenance planning and coordination across multiple shifts, balancing resources and workload demands.Apply modern manufacturing and maintenance principles, including TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma concepts, to improve reliability and operational effectiveness.QualificationsExtensive maintenance management or plant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in extrusion, anodizing, or comparable heavy manufacturing operations strongly preferred.Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams across multiple shifts and building a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Working knowledge of industrial electrical and control systems.Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and Total Productive/Preventative Maintenance (TPM).BenefitsCompetitive compensation (Salary $120K - $135K)Industry-competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits at low employee costPaid time off and paid holidays, including flexible/floating holiday optionsRelocation assistance (if applicable)Training and professional development opportunitiesBenefits
