Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. The workdays are Monday through Friday, and on call as required. Responsibilities Assist Senior Technician with highly diversified duties to maintain client properties Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of machines Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Qualifications This position requires travel. The successful candidate must have the ability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests At least one year of maintenance/construction experience Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
