Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for our Concord NH facility! We are a globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for hydropower stations, the pulp and paper industry. Location: Concord, NH | Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Type: Direct Hire | Rate: $28.00/hr

Core Technical Responsibilities You are responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment. You must be able to perform these tasks both independently and as part of a team.

• Systems Support: Troubleshoot and maintain the following:
  
  
  • Electrical: 440V 3-phase systems, motors, and drives.
    
    
  • Fluid Power: Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
    
    
  • Mechanical: Industrial pumps and various hand/power tools.
    
    
• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute established PM schedules to minimize downtime.
  
  
• Documentation: Read and interpret standard prints, technical manuals, and instructions.
  
  
• Inventory Management: Identify required replacement parts and report needs directly to the Shop Superintendent.
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• OSHA Standards: Strict adherence to all OSHA regulations is non-negotiable.
  
  
• Tool Safety: Operate all power and hand tools with a "safety-first" mindset.
  
  
• Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized workspace (housekeeping/painting) to prevent hazards.
  
  

Collaboration & Flexibility

• Teamwork: Work seamlessly alongside production staff and external contractors.
  
  
• Urgent Response: Must be willing to work off-schedule shifts when emergency repairs are required.
  
  
• General Support: Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by supervision to keep the facility operational.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
• Understanding and adherence to all appropriate OSHA regulations
• Work along side production employees and contractors.
• Support troubleshooting of pumps,440v 3 phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatic and hydraulic.
• Identify nessesary parts for maintenance needs and report to Shop Superintendent.
• Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
• Willingness to work off schedule shifts to execute urgent maintenance needs.
• Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or as directed by supervision.
• Proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
• Must have computer skills (Word/Excel)
