Description
The Assembler III will interpret assembly procedures and drawings, mechanical drawings, and parts lists while adhering to Best Manufacturing Practices using product documentation.
Essential Functions:
Ability to use basic and complex electronic measurement devices, typical manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures, and hand tools.
Build and test basic and complex product to specification while meeting established quality guidelines.
Complete assigned jobs per established budget.
Properly use tools and fixtures to prevent part damage/scrap and production downtime.
Follow verbal and written instructions from documented specification drawings and established procedures.
Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary technical courses/degree AND/OR 1+ years of experience as an assembler in related industry
Experience with basic & complex electro-mechanical assembly
Ability to work independently
Trained and skilled in soldering and wire bonding
Work Environment:
This is a manufacturing floor-based position.
