The Maintenance Manager is responsible for identifying requirements and ensure appropriate action is taken to meet the maintenance needs of various facility systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, PLC, electrical, hydraulics and automation. This position is responsible for ensuring all equipment, facilities, and grounds are maintained and working in optimal condition to support production and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, and procedures to accomplish company objectives and KPIs

Ensures all health, safety, and regulations are followed

Creates and maintains a preventive maintenance system as well as procedures to keep day-to-day operations and equipment running efficiently and effectively

Oversee Equipment Maintenance and Facility Maintenance departments on 1 st and 3 rd shifts

Manage and execute facility maintenance program to include assessments, repair, and construction projects

Maintain safe and clean work environment. Train personnel on processes and procedures.

Plan the work and monitor performance determine the techniques to be used and apportion the work among maintenance employees

Analyze data, investigate issues, identify solutions, and recommend actions to improve KPI targets.

Participate and make recommendations for developing and improving performance evaluations and interviewing candidates.

Contribute to Bennington cultural vision including but not limited to working in a positive fashion with teammates and leadership, taking initiative, and having ownership of work.

Flexible, performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment preferred

Proven track record of minimized equipment down time

Proven track record of increasing OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

Proven track record of taking organization from preventive maintenance to predictive maintenance

Experience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, automation, and HVAC

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Succeeds in a fast-paced work environment

Strong project and time management skills

Demonstrated leadership ability to set goals, delegate and motivate team to achieve those goals

Excellent leadership skill in motivating, training, and developing individuals and teams.

Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally

Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Effective negotiation, decision making and problem-solving skills

Ability to drive accountability throughout the organization
