Maintenance ManagerPosition OverviewThe Maintenance Manager will lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for our facility to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of equipment and utilities. This role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, continuous improvement of equipment reliability, compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and effective use of CMMS and ERP systems to optimize uptime and production efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Manage day-to-day maintenance operations including troubleshooting, repairs, electrical and mechanical work, and PLC-related control system support.Oversee CMMS and ERP maintenance modules for work order management, asset tracking, spare parts inventory, and maintenance planning/scheduling.Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors; ensure proper training, certifications and safe work practices.Coordinate maintenance activities with production, quality and engineering teams to support production schedules and product safety requirements in food and beverage environments.Plan and manage maintenance budgets, capital projects, spare parts procurement, and contractor scope to optimize costs and service levels.Drive continuous improvement and reliability projects (root cause analysis, RCM, FMEA) to reduce breakdowns and improve OEE.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP) and company EHS policies; maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for audits.QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing with leadership responsibility.Hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and integration in production environments.Proven experience using CMMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for work orders, asset management and spare parts control.Strong knowledge of food production and beverage production processes, sanitary equipment design, and regulatory compliance (GMP, HACCP, FDA as applicable).Demonstrated skills in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.Experience managing budgets, capital projects and external contractors.Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.Certifications preferred: CMRP, RTD, or other maintenance/reliability credentials; refrigeration, welding or electrical licenses a plus.BenefitsAnnual salary: $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)Bonus opportunitesMedical, Dental, and Vision401k planPTO / Paid HolidaysWork with a fast-growing company!
