Maintenance Manager

TITLE: Maintenance ManagerPOSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for managing the plant maintenance and projects in a cost effective and safe manner that will maximize equipment uptime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8-10 years' experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment3-5 years supervisory experienceStrong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as machining experienceStrong background with PLC controls and variable speed drivesEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves as the direct supervisor of maintenance technicians.Manages and implements capital projects.Coordinates maintenance activities with production, QA and LogisticsConducts engineering evaluations of contractors and vendors in regard to maintenance supportMaintains optimal level of maintenance and electronic partsEnsures preventive maintenance schedules are metEnsures mechanical and electrical technicians are properly trainedOther duties as assigned
