Maintenance Mechanic

As seen in the Norfolk Daily News) Full time Maintenance Mechanic. Assists to install, maintain, repair and/or replace mechanical systems at the Immaculata Monastery. The job functions are related to various basic electrical, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, painting, and/or plumbing skills. Requirements include ability to operate a variety of tools, drive a tractor & drive vehicles with a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without restrictions, bend, stoop, reach above shoulder level, climb ladders & withstand extreme heat/ cold conditions. Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels & hazardous machines & materials. Work well with others & take directions from a Supervisor. A comprehensive wage & benefits package is offered. No health insurance available but an extra allowance paid to help with other medical coverage.
