Our client is seeking an experienced Assembler. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components using various hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and other materials. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
The proposed salary range for this position is up to $35/hr . There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIESPerform assembly operations on various components following established procedures and work instructions.
Assembly experience of simple hardware installation to complex integrated systems of multiple sub-assemblies.
Utilize various hand tools for installation of helicoils, rivets, pemstuds, pemnuts, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and other materials to assemble products.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
Inspect components for quality and compliance with specifications, adjusting or repairs as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. This includes working cross-functionally in other areas
Communicate any issues or concerns regarding the assembly process to supervisors or quality control personnel.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Continuously strive for improvement in assembly techniques and efficiency.
Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Education and Years of Experience: High School Diploma/GED and a Minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly work or a similar role.
Proficiency in using hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and related equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
Familiarity with safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment .
Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or a related industry.
Additional technical certifications or training in assembly or related fields.
