Machine Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Auburn, ME
Adecco is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing team in Auburn, ME. This is a hands-on role w you'll play a key part in keeping production running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with both mechanical and electrical systems, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
What You'll Do
Monitor and operate machinery to identify performance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on motors, belts, drives, and fluid systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using schematics and diagnostic tools
Repair or replace defectiveponents and restore equipment to operation
Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed
Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment for optimal performance
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
Assist with basic fabrication, including cutting, welding, and assembly
Install or repair electrical systems, conduit, and piping
Document maintenance work (including SAP entries)
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED
Electrical journeyman-level experience (a Journeyman License is not required)
At least 3 years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems independently
Willingness to obtain a Boiler Operator Certification within 6 months (if not already certified)
Preferred
Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology
Familiarity with material control systems
Schedule
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Monday-Friday)

We offerpetitive pay based on your experience, skills, and certifications.
