Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a team with a Non-Profit Organization in the Marriottsville, Maryland area. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.Maintenance Supervisor Job Responsibilities:- Provide training, work direction to maintenance staff- Develop a team environment with maintenance staff- Coordinate daily maintenance requests- Complete work orders in a timely manner- Regularly inspect property for safety and security which includes broken fences, wiring, pot-holes, sewer line breaks, ground and trip hazards, and non-working lights- Works with maintenance staff to ensure resident maintenance issues are dealt with in a timely manner- Oversee and inspect any work performed by maintenance staff as well as outside contractors- Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they are in good working condition- Maintain records for preventative maintenance or service requests for guest rooms- Assist in the purchasing, installation, maintenance to repair of any electrical wiring and fixtures, perform repairs to carpets, cabinets, clocks, lighting as well as audiovisual equipment system- Be able to estimate any costs of labor and materials for work orders and obtain any competitive prices for equipment and supplies as needed- Be able to manage maintenance schedule for both normal operation hours and on call hours. Ensure that t is 24/7 coverage.- Be able to work with the Housekeeping Supervisor to make sure maintenance staff is available to support staffing needs for any upcoming events- Be able to perform maintenance tasks personally as well as delegate to other maintenance staffMaintenance Supervisor
