Location: Penn Center Apartments - 939 Second Street, Williamsport, PA

Reports To: GN Associates - State College Office

Compensation: Hourly ($18/hour)

Typical hours:On-call, as- needed basis (this will depend on the type of person we may be able to fine)

Position Summary

GN Associates is seeking a dependable Maintenance & Grounds Technician to assist in the management of a 35-unit apartment complex in Williamsport, PA. This position focuses on building systems, preventive and emergency maintenance, exterior upkeep, and daily property inspections. Consistent communication with the State College main office is required.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

- Perform routine, preventive and emergency maintenance service requests

- Respond to lock-out requests as needed

- Document and report all maintenance requests within 24 hours

- Perform general repairs including carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, hardware replacement

- Assist with apartment turnovers (painting, maintenance, furniture set-up, key issuance)

- Assist with apartment checks-in and check-outs as needed

- Participate in annual building and fire apparatus inspections

Exterior Property & Ground Maintenance

- Conduct daily property rounds to identify safety concerns and maintenance issues

- Pick up trash and debris in landscaped areas, parking lots, walkways, and dumpster areas

- Perform lawn care and landscaping duties

- Snow removal and ice treatment as needed (parking lots outsourced)

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dumpster areas

Skills & Qualifications

- Ability to lift heavy items

- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to work independently

- Organized and reliable

- Strong attention to detail
