Our client, a leading organization in commercial building maintenance and HVAC services, is seeking a Mobile HVAC/Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting multiple commercial properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC/Facilities Technician

Location: Florence, South Carolina

Strong HVAC background, building maintenance, shell maintenance.
Plumbing, small issues.
Nice to have chiller experience.
Strong background in at least 30/40/50 ton units.

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, chillers, and boilers
  • Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical distribution, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems
  • Execute work orders efficiently using CMMS technology with minimal supervision
  • Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting client operations
  • Travel within assigned territory to support multiple client locations and ensure optimal system performance

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with a focus on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Universal EPA/CFC certification (required)
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
