Job Summary
We're seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills, basic plumbing, and the ability to handle a variety of repair and assembly tasks. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, performing precision measurements, and using a range of tools to keep our facility running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
-Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate repairs.
-Basic Assembly & Woodworking:Handle basic assembly tasks and minor woodworking needs, ensuring that any fixtures or fittings are properly installed.
-Use of Hand and Power Tools:Confidently use all hand tools and power tools required for maintenance and repair tasks
-Plumbing and General Maintenance:Perform basic plumbing repairs and general facility upkeep
-Supplier Interaction & Escalation:Communicate effectively with equipment suppliers and know when to escalate complex issues
-Precision Measurement and Alignment:Read and interpret precision measuring tools to ensure equipment is set up accurately and aligned to specifications.
Required Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with the ability to use precision measuring tools
-Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
-Basic plumbing and assembly skills, including minor woodworking.
-Strong communication skills for vendor interaction and problem escalation
Preferred Qualifications
-Basic IT troubleshooting skills
-Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
-Experience in precision equipment setup and alignment
-Electrician certification is a plus
