Schedule: 11 am – 8 pm Monday through Friday

Required: Ability to work overtime and Saturdays during peak season as needed

Lester Brothers Excavation, Inc. is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career working on commercial trucks and heavy equipment.

You’ll assist with basic maintenance and preventative service on our fleet while learning from experienced mechanics in a fast-paced construction and trucking environment.

Responsibilities

• Oil changes and preventative maintenance
• Greasing, fluid checks, and filter replacements
• Inspecting trucks and equipment for safety concerns
• Assisting with basic repairs and shop tasks
• Keeping the shop and work areas clean and organized
• Supporting senior mechanics with maintenance and repairs

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with good motor vehicle record
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Chauffeur’s License
• Listening skills and the ability to receive constructive feedback
• Dependable with good attendance
• Able to perform physical work and lift 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable working around trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
