Our client, a leader in industrial facilities management, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting the maintenance and repair of building mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: West Union, SC
Pay Range:$25-30
Shift: Evenings (08:00-17:00)
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and air handlers.
- Respond to service calls, identify system failures, and implement effective solutions to ensure building comfort and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate service records and document work orders using computerized maintenance management systems.
- Support general facilities operations such as electrical work, plumbing repairs, lighting maintenance, and minor carpentry tasks.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized work and assist with emergency response procedures.
What's Needed?
- EPA Universal Certification (Type I, II, and III) is mandatory.
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC theory, refrigeration cycles, and energy management principles.
- Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions and responding to after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule.
