Shift Maintenance Supervisor Location: Rochester, NY Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance staff, driving equipment reliability, and ensuring efficient operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, a background in maintenance, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Pay Rate: $65,000 - $118,000 annually + bonus eligibility Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Fireman's Schedule Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage maintenance team members during assigned shift Develop team skills through coaching, training, and performance management Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and staffing needs Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis (RCA) Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance Respond to equipment downtime and provide escalation support as needed Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, safety policies, and regulatory requirements Monitor work documentation and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and completeness Support development and execution of preventative maintenance programs Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, and operational goals Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Experience working in GMP or regulated environments preferred Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and team leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Manufacturing/lab environment with exposure to chemicals and industrial equipment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift 10-15 lbs as needed Must follow all PPE and safety requirements Occasional travel (
