Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance program for the hospital and surrounding campus. Ensures the maintenance program follows all regulatory agencies compliance, including Joint Commission and state regulatory agencies. All duties to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, the State Department of Public Health, Oceans' Mission, policies and procedures, and QAPI Standards. Inspects the facility for proper operation and working conditions. Maintains maintenance records to the extent of malfunction of equipment. Maintains and/or oversees repair of hospital equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use. Maintains the maintenance budget for repairs, supplies and services agreements as provided by the hospital Administrator. Maintains rounds, including outside building repair and lawn maintenance. May serve as an additional trainer to the facility for Crisis Intervention and De-escalation training. Collaborates with the Environment of Care Director when needed to act as an additional competent trainer. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
