Maintenance Supervisor Technician (2nd/3rd shift)

MACHINE REPAIR -MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR TECHNICIAN Metropolitan Baking Company is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Supervisor Technician at our facility in Hamtramck, Michigan. This position requires the technical skills to: Evaluate Directs workers, or assists in diagnosing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment Interprets company policies to workers and enforces OSHA and company safety regulations Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules Troubleshoot Repair and install bakery and food processing equipment. Mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge Maintain conveyors and physical structures. Preventative Maintenance Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Position Start time roughly 3:00 - 4:00 PM In addition, the Maintenance Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely on Mechanical and Electrical equipment in a high speed production environment. Qualifications: 1 year related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade.
