Hiring Now - Senior Facilities Technician We are hiring Senior Facilities Technician responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems across a multibuilding globally recognized distribution company. This role provides advanced technical support in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems , leads daily operations, and supports reliabilitybased maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime of all building infrastructure. This position requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to deliver highquality service in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment. Certifications are nice to have but not required . Compensation, Schedule & Start Date Start Date: June 15 Pay: $26-$29/hr depending on experience Shift: Monday-Friday, primarily 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. with some flexibility OnCall: Rotating one week per month , covering afterhours and weekends Oncall pay is automatic 4 hours , even if the response only requires one hour Environment: Multibuilding Amazon campus Does NOT support production equipment (Schneider handles production maintenance) Key Responsibilities Building Operations Monitor, operate, and maintain building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, pumps, valves, piping, water systems, and electrical equipment up to 480V. Review equipment logs and system performance; identify and report issues promptly. Perform preventive maintenance and support reliabilitybased maintenance strategies. Oversee HVAC repairs, determine PM intervals, and ensure systems meet performance standards. Maintain adequate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; prepare purchase requests and conduct periodic inventory checks. Coordinate and oversee contractors working within the buildings. Safety & Compliance Identify and remediate safety hazards to ensure a safe environment for staff and occupants. Implement and manage safety training programs for the engineering team. Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations related to building infrastructure. Maintain required documentation including building drawings, singleline diagrams, and regulatory records. Alert management to discrepancies or compliance risks. Reliability & Maintenance Programs Implement and manage reliabilitybased maintenance functions to improve equipment uptime. Execute inspection and monitoring programs; evaluate maintenance methods and recommend improvements. Ensure building systems operate safely, efficiently, and costeffectively to protect asset value. Training & Leadership Provide handson instruction in maintenance, safety, troubleshooting, and proper tool use. Mentor junior technicians and promote professionalism in conduct and appearance. Recommend external training courses to support team development. Customer Service & Technology Deliver highquality internal and external customer service. Use CMMS systems (Corrigo) to manage work orders, PM schedules, and maintenance records. Utilize Microsoft Office 365 for reporting, documentation, and communication. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience Strong experience in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems Experience in multibuilding or campus environments Proficiency with CMMS platforms (Corrigo preferred) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Strong communication skills and customer service record Understanding of construction planning and system execution Experience with HVAC, pumping systems, filtration, welding exposure, and electrical troubleshooting up to 480V Ability to participate in rotating oncall schedule Preferred (Not Required) Certifications Universal CFC certification HVAC and EPA certifications Electrical certifications (Nice to have, not mandatory) Why This Role Matters You will support a highvisibility distribution campus where uptime, safety, and reliability are critical.
