Maintenance Technician II - Mechanical & Robotics Job Description This long-term Maintenance Technician II role focuses on supporting an operations maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced distribution environment. Perform routine and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation. Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment according to established procedures and safety standards. Inspect pneumatic systems, identify issues, and perform repairs or component replacements as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical and basic robotics-related issues on equipment and systems to restore functionality quickly. Use appropriate tools and maintenance techniques to complete work orders accurately and on time. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to maintain accurate equipment history. Follow all safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies while performing maintenance tasks. Collaborate with operations and other maintenance team members to prioritize work and support continuous facility uptime. Essential Skills Proven experience performing maintenance on material handling equipment in an industrial or distribution environment. Hands-on skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. Ability to maintain and repair pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting air lines, valves, and related components. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues safely and efficiently. Capability to follow technical procedures, maintenance instructions, and safety protocols.
