Systems Maintenance Assistant Waterville Valley, NH 03215 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description SCOPE: The Systems Maintenance Assistant works within the Facilities department and assists the Systems Facilities Manager with the performance installations of electrical and mechanical systems, controls, fiber / date install services; following procedures and schedules for routine inspection and preventive maintenance of all electrical services, fire alarms and emergency light The systems maintenance assistant may work on electrical systems in buildings, Snow making infrastructure or in exterior infrastructure. The assistant will work in the outdoors and sometimes at heights. May assist within multiple mountain operation departments including Snow making, lift maintenance and buildings mountain operations ESSENTIAL DUTIES Mechanical, electrical and data maintenance and installation in a variety of settings. Maintain the work area - clean, safe and organized. Load and unload material and tools from transport vehicles. Execute daily maintenance and installation tasks received from a supervisor and complete the tasks in a timely manner. Work effectively with other team members to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining a high-quality standard. May perform other inter-disciplinary functions as assigned helping to job-share in other areas of the Resort based on variable business operating schedules. Develops professional skills. Participates in continuous professional development; sets and maintains expectation that a high standard of fitness, appearance, and hygiene must be adhered to by staff. Ensures health and safety procedures. Learns and follows established health and safety procedures; maintains and adheres to expectation that a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene must be followed. Contributes to team effort. Participates in job sharing; assumes responsibility as a team member for the cleanliness of the Resort and safety of guests and staff; participates in safety meetings; accepts diverse assignments; maintains a positive, helpful, and friendly attitude with guests and other staff.
