un Maintenance Mechanic (Millville) compensation: Based on experience, starting at $23.00/hr employment type: job title: Maintenance Mechanic The Maintenance Technician/Mechanic reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance to machinery and facilities in a food production environment. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for changing over, setting, repairing, and improving performance on conveyor driven production line, canning, frying and packaging equipment, combining equipment, and providing support for the workings of auxiliary equipment as directed Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Install and repair plumbing systems Assist Maintenance Manager and Supervisor in designing machinery modifications Maintain responsibility for inspection, reporting, and upkeep of assigned equipment Handle and maneuver large machinery components Handling and storage of maintenance supplies and equipment Timely and accurate submission of paperwork (as required) Other duties as assigned Position Requirements In possession of own tools Two (2) years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant Valid drivers license High School diploma or GED 18 Years or older Legally able to work in the United States Preferred Experience and Qualifications Previous fresh food production line machinery experience Bilingual - English & Spanish Previous food service production industry experience Employee Expectations Regular attendance and punctuality Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance Strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the LaMonica Fine Foods culture Training Facility safety and security Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - Policies and Procedures Company policies and procedures Work Environment Food Processing Plant Physical Effort Lifting & Climbing ladders required Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Principals only.
