Job Summary:
Responsible for all plant maintenance functions including, production equipment, building systems (HVAC, etc.), and
grounds to support world-class plant operations. Is responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Performs routine preventative maintenance of
machinery and building systems.
Primary responsibilities include:

Supports defined safety regulations, ensuring compliance with standards, including: Arc Flash, Lock out /
Tag out, Electrical, etc.
Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor
Ensure that all scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties are completed in a timely manner
Ensure that all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working condition
Follow all company Safety rules and guidelines in operating machinery
Sustain the 6S system throughout all work areas
Maintain facility housekeeping
Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properly
Performs daily maintenance tasks, schedules repairs, and ensures all equipment and facilities are in good
working order
Completes preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, and
implementing corrective actions
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities
Monitors critical component inventory for machinery in ERP system to minimize plant downtime
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Works collaboratively with the maintenance team and business units.
Communicates and interacts with plant personnel and exhibits a positive attitude.
This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, and the ability to respond to on-call duties
for repairs as required.
Strong 5S, housekeeping skills that align with world-class maintenance programs
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, ladder diagrams, logic, and schematics
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues,
analyze data, and make informed decisions
Supports ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHA 18801 certification requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
Maintains strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) condition and predictive failure monitoring, Overall
Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tools, and Operational Excellence (Lean) methodologies is preferred
Direct knowledge and experience with control software, including PLC logic programming
Direct knowledge and experience with electrical ladder diagram (Development, Modification, Trouble-
shooting)
Direct knowledge and experience with electrical code requirements (NEC), including main electrical
switchgear repair and arc flash requirements.
Working knowledge of Robotics (Servo / End Coders / VFD) is preferred
Gains solid understanding of GF manufacturing processes, including troubleshooting
Understands the purpose and proper use of small hand and power tool
Strong time management and task prioritization skills
Periodic forklift and rigging skills are preferred
Periodic exposure to heights and confined spaces may be required
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in maintenance role, with direct hands-on experience in Hydraulics,
Pneumatics, Electrical, and Mechanical maintenance and repair
High School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions:
Typical office/factory environment with exposure to ambient temperatures in un-conditioned production
areas
Exposure to general production machine noise levels
Exposure to hazards such as electrical and moving mechanical parts
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, grasping, feeling, walking, and hearing
Requires some lifting of up to 40 pounds objects (boxes, trash bags, odd shaped items, equipment
components, etc.)
Required to lift 50 pounds and move odd shaped objects (desks, tables, etc.)
Required to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime as required to support plant operations
