Capital Property Management (CPM) is seeking a reliable, skilled full-time Maintenance Technician/Supervisor to support our growing portfolio of primarily single-family homes along the Wasatch Front, with a strong concentration in the Salt Lake Valley.

ResponsibilitiesIf the following describes you, we want to hear from you!
You have hands-on experience performing general plumbing repairs on water and sewer lines, and are proficient using large drain snakes.
You are confident conducting basic electrical diagnostics and repairs for outlets, switches, and fixtures, allowing you to accurately identify issues before involving an electrician.
You possess basic HVAC troubleshooting skills , including the ability to run thermostat diagnostics and clean flame sensors.
You are skilled in paint and drywall repair , with the speed and efficiency required to paint an entire home interior as necessary
You tackle minor roof repairs , including patching and basic maintenance.
You have experience working with swamp coolers , including installation, regular service, seasonal start-up, and winterization.
You can accurately diagnose and replace major household appliances , such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and dishwashers.
You have experience replacing and servicing water heaters
You are willing to handle light landscaping (24 times per year), taking care of weeding, mowing, edging, trimming, and general property clean-up.
You keep storage areas and company vehicles clean and organized , ensuring tools and materials are always maintained and accounted for
You are a highly organized self-starter , and have no problem creating turn lists and submitting accurate maintenance reports on-time
You are a clear and proactive communicator with experience coordinating with residents, vendors, and office staff.
QualificationsMinimum 34 years of maintenance or handyman experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid drivers license and ability to tow a trailer
Must own and use a smartphone for work order management
Must pass a background check
Must reside in Salt Lake County
