We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to manually assemble electronic products in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in producing high-reliability electronic assemblies and requires precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to process.

The Final Assembler builds final product to print by placing all necessary wiring, wiring harnesses, circuit cards and other hardware components within a chassis.

Position Responsibilities:

Manually and precisely assembles components into a final product by following work instructions and blueprints

Fit cable harnesses, circuit card, and components into chassis neatly and within tolerance

Completes discrete wiring into chassis by soldering and lugging

Utilizes correct torqueing tools and applies the correct torque during assembly

Mixes, weighs, and applies appropriate bonding chemicals to electronic components

Obtains and maintains J-Standard certifications

Utilizes computer to access and input data on the ERP system, Quality system, and other manufacturing software

Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:

Fine manual dexterity

Ability to operate various machines and hand tools

Demonstrates high attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small team

Enjoys repetitive and routine work

Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions (read/understand schematics, CAD drawings or blue prints)

Fine motor skills, dexterity, and good eyesight

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous soldering experience preferred

Obtains and maintains basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures

Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Work Environment:

Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Hours 3:15pm - 1:45am, Monday through Thursday; occasional additional hours as needed
