Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager Location Multiple properties within assigned portfolio/region Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager to support maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities in Renton, Kent, and Federal Way . This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, leading by example, and ensuring residents receive exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily maintenance operations at multiple properties Support maintenance teams with scheduling vendors, ordering supplies, work orders, unit turns, and preventive maintenance Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry issues Ensure communities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained Help maintain inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination Support emergency on-call rotations as needed Assist with training and mentoring maintenance staff Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Qualifications Previous multi-family maintenance experience required Supervisory or assistant maintenance leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently What we offer Competitive pay Benefits package including medical, dental, vision Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities Supportive team environment Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm If you are a dependable maintenance professional looking to grow your career in property management, we'd love to hear from you!
