Help
As a, AIRCRAFT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-8852-11, you will plan weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operions. Establishes deadlines and priorities based on established general schedules, methods and policies. Determines skills, merials and equipment required to do the work. Participe in the initial planning of current and future work schedules and development of budget requests. Provide workload da, estimes, informion on staffing needs, and recommendions as the scheduling of projected work. Assigns tasks to be performed. Explains work requirements, methods, and procedures. Instructs subordines on new procedures or methods and provides assistance on difficult or new problem areas. Reviews work in progress or on completion. Makes adjustments as necessary to effectively and economically accomplish the work. Notes and investiges work reled problems and independently implements corrective actions which can be taken without affecting work operions controlled by other supervisors. Assures th equipment and meriel is available when needed. Coordines work with other units.

Qualificions
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Cegory 1 & 3 Only. Cegory 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL Nional Guard military membership; Cegory 3: All current military members of the Florida Nional Guard.
PCS: Permanent Change of Stion (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorizion for payment of PCS expenses granted ONLY after determinion is made th payment is in the best interest of the Florida Nional Guard.
Recruitment / Relocion: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determinion is made th payment is in the best interest of the Florida Nional Guard.
FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organizion represention.
Military Grades : Enlisted-E7 through E9
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must have experience or training which demonstres th the candide has the ability to organize assignments for subordines, estime merial and manpower needed for specific jobs; able to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : WS11 Must have 1 year of experience the next lower level performing, coordining, and/or overseeing the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers; experience coordining the work of other journey-level workers in other trades to work simultaneously on the aircraft; experience serving as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and pneudraulic repairs of assigned aircraft; experience which demonstres the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel; experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines; experience th provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function; experience which demonstres the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communice knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes; experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situions.
