The Wastewater Plant Mechanic performs responsible semi-skilled work in installing, repairing and maintaining plant equipment for the Wastewater Department.

• Graduation from high school or GED
• One year of experience in the utilities field
• Valid NC drivers license or valid out-of-state drivers license with the ability to obtain a valid NC drivers license within sixty days of employment and good driving record

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. On-call rotation required. Paid bi-weekly.
