Maintenance Technician

Performs a wide variety of routine repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on commercial property.
Modifies and repairs interior/exterior walls systems, roof systems, floor coverings, windows and window coverings.
Installs, textures and repairs drywall.
Builds and installs partitions and cabinetry.
Requires basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
Fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
Performs interior/exterior painting.
Installs and repairs lock/key systems.
Replaces/repairs receptacles, lamps, ballasts, sinks, toilets, faucets.
Works daily with a computerized maintenance management system to enter, close and record work orders.
Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
Primarily works a day shift, M-F.
Monitors and escorts as necessary subcontractor personnel.
Other duties that are pertinent to the department or units success also may be assigned.
Must have an acceptable driving record for company insurance.
