**Facilities Manager**
Red Hook Barrel Yard is seeking an experienced, hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, organization, appearance, and day-to-day functionality of our entire waterfront campus, including our restaurant, event spaces, winery, distillery, cidery, and Lundy's.

This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys building systems, managing teams, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining a high-quality guest environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, mechanically inclined, and comfortable leading a team while also rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done.

### Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise the facilities and maintenance team
* Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules
* Oversee general repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep
* Coordinate and perform basic handyman work, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and repairs
* Manage storage areas, inventory organization, and facility-wide cleanliness standards
* Ensure all public, guest-facing, and back-of-house areas are maintained to a high standard
* Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers when necessary
* Monitor building systems and equipment to ensure proper operation
* Assist with event setup, breakdown, and facility logistics as needed
* Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
* Identify operational improvements and implement systems to improve efficiency
* Respond quickly to maintenance issues and facility emergencies

### Qualifications

* Previous facilities, maintenance, operations, or property management experience required
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
* Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair
* Comfortable lifting, moving equipment, and performing physical work when needed
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
* Hospitality, restaurant, brewery, winery, distillery, event venue, or similar experience is a plus
