POSITION SUMMARY
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing the team with the materials, prints, and information required to complete jobs accurately and on schedule. This role requires a high performing, flexible, and creative team member who is comfortable working with less structure and adapting to changing priorities.
Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide the team with accurate materials, prints, and required job information to support on-time production.
- Review job orders, verify material availability, and ensure all necessary components are staged and prepared prior to production.
- Coordinate material flow between work centers to maintain efficient operations and minimize delays.
- Communicate with other internal areas regarding material shortages, job status, or changes to requirements.
- Maintain organized work areas for materials, prints, and job packets to support quick access and accurate retrieval.
- Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies or missing components that could impact production schedules.
- Adjust daily tasks, priorities, and work hours as needed to align with changing business demands and available equipment resources.
- Fill out MDRs and relaying communication for reworking parts to other areas, if needed.
- Follows the LSI QMS (standardized work and documented procedures).
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives through the monthly department presentations, including newspapers, 5s, two second lean opportunities and understanding and participates in improving the LSI environmental impacts and aspects.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable standards: ISO 9001 quality, 14001 environmental, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
- Adheres to all safety procedures (including participating in safety audits, following machine guarding and lockout/tag out, proper lifting techniques, etc.), PPE requirements, and reporting incidents (including reporting near misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately).

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in manufacturing, materials coordination, production support, or similar roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, less-structured environment.
- Ability to read and interpret prints, job packets, and production documentation.
- Ability to read blueprints preferred.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and relay accurate information.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to adjust schedules or tasks based on business needs.
- Problem-solving skills to identify material issues, discrepancies, or workflow obstacles.
- Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- High school completion or equivalent preferred.

The target hourly range is $20.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.
In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
