Position Overview
As a Residential Electrician, you will travel to customer homes to perform scheduled installations of ceiling fans, chandeliers, pendant lights, flush mounts, and other residential fixtures. You must be comfortable working at heights up to 15 ft and interacting professionally with homeowners.
Responsibilities
Install ceiling fans, light fixtures, and related electrical components in residential environments
Ensure all work meets local electrical codes and safety standards
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance
Troubleshoot basic electrical issues related to fixture installation
Safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools
Complete daily job logs and communicate with dispatch as needed
Travel 100% of the time to residential job sites within the service area
Requirements
Current and valid Electrician License (State of Texas or reciprocal)
Reliable vehicle suitable for transporting tools and equipment
Own tools, including:
Standard electrician hand tools
Power drill
Wire strippers, testers, etc.
Aframe or Gorilla ladder capable of reaching up to 15 ft
Ability to pass a background check
Strong communication and customerservice skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work overhead for extended periods
