Perform preventive maintenance on water softeners and manage salt inventory to ensure proper operation in assigned areas Handle work orders and call-outs independently while coordinating additional trade support as needed Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job requirements and direction Complete advanced maintenance and repair tasks aligned with preventive maintenance programs Carry out carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep to maintain property condition Report maintenance issues accurately to ensure timely resolution by appropriately skilled trades Follow safety, risk management, and environmental standards while supporting the training and development of maintenance team members Valid drivers license required More about you Minimum of 5 years of experience in general building maintenance or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing Advanced knowledge of general building maintenance, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair No high school diploma or GED required A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle in inclement weather Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Physical requirements Wear all required personal protective equipment needed to carry out assigned tasks safely. Ability to enter into and work in confined and crawlspaces. Will climb and descend ladders repeatedly while supporting tools and equipment. Walking, bending, squatting, reaching, pulling with ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity in the use of hands to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools and equipment.
