Vendor Maintenance Specialist

Kforce has an immediate need for 2 Vendor Maintenance Specialists for an 18-24 month contract assignment with a client in the White Plains, NY area and they prefer candidates work on site full time. They will consider a hybrid work schedule or for possibly remote for a strong fit.

The client is going through an Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion ERP/Financials migration:

  • Support vendor master data cleanup and maintenance
  • Handle the data transformation required for Oracle Fusion migration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data cleansing and updates within vendor master records
  • Review and correct inaccurate or outdated data
  • Execute bulk record updates (e.g., batches of vendor records)
  • Input and maintain data directly in ERP systems
  • Submit updates through approval workflows

Work Nature:

  • Highly hands-on, system-based (ERP-driven) work
  • Not focused on automation or advanced technical development
  • Primarily execution and data accuracy-focused

  • Directly support data cleanup
  • Performs job duties under minimal supervision* 4+ years of related experience within Procurement, AP, Accounting, or similar financial administrative role
  • Basic knowledge of the procure to pay process and procedures and where/how the VM role plays a part
  • Must have analytical and problem-solving skills and must pay close attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy; Requires basic relationship management skills as this role interacts with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers; Communicates with suppliers and internal customers effectively engaging face to face as much as possible; Well-developed skills in communicating concepts and interacting with other team members
  • Able to execute procurement-related projects and tasks based on specific instructions and with limited discretion
  • Able to articulate to others internally and externally the importance of the risk mitigation measures in place and not compromise quality for speed
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Oracle preferred; Zycus iSupplier preferred
  • Basic computer skills particularly in Oracle, Excel, SharePoint, and other related tools and technologies
  • Detail orientation and ability to follow procedures and structured workflow system guides
  • Familiarity and experience working in an ERP system is preferred
