Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Location: Greenville, NC Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Automation Machinery Manufacturing Compensation: $26.00-$34.00/Hour Schedule: 40 Hours/Week About the Opportunity: The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing overall facility maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance of plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment, including performing scheduled preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment. General maintenance activities on plant utility systems to ensure a continuous supply of heat, steam, electrical power, chilled water, gas, and compressed air. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors and variable frequency drives. Perform tasks involving industrial control wiring and troubleshooting. Conduct PLC troubleshooting and basic programming. Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related environment 3+ years of direct management experience. 3+ years of experience with the manufacturing of circuit card assemblies and sensitive electronics. 3+ years of experience in process engineering from raw material to finished goods. What Sets You Apart: Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery Electrical troubleshooting skills Results-oriented and able to handle multiple projects. Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral. Demonstrates organizational and team-building skills. Strong attention to detail.
