Repair Technician | $20-26 HR Job Description The Repair Technician diagnoses, repairs, and tests a wide range of electronic and electromechanical products used in the dental industry. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and electronic assembly while following detailed schematics, drawings, and test procedures to ensure each product meets strict quality and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronic products used in the dental industry, including ultrasonic cleaners, LED curing lights, sterilizing ovens, high frequency electro-surgical devices, and dental scalers. Perform acceptance testing on products after repair, following established test procedures and documenting all results accurately. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings, and test procedures to guide repair and assembly activities. Use electrical meters, oscilloscopes, high voltage leak detection equipment, and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical and electronic issues. Carry out mechanical repair and assembly of equipment, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of mechanical components. Conduct electronics, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting to determine root causes of equipment failures. Disassemble equipment systematically, document findings, and determine appropriate repair actions. Document issues found during troubleshooting and record all repairs performed in a clear and organized manner. Dismantle defective equipment, remove faulty parts, and install new or repaired components according to specifications. Perform soldering and desoldering on printed circuit boards and other electronic assemblies while maintaining high workmanship standards. Test circuits and assemblies to verify proper operation and ensure repaired products meet performance requirements. Follow all applicable procedures and guidelines associated with working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with electronic repair and troubleshooting of complex equipment. Proficiency in electronics, including working with printed circuit boards and testing circuits. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical repair, mechanical assembly, and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience using electrical meters, oscilloscopes, high voltage leak detection equipment, and other diagnostic tools. Skill in soldering and desoldering electronic components to a high standard. Ability to document repair findings and test results clearly and accurately. Strong general troubleshooting skills across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. Why Work Here?
