Electromechanical Assembler Virginia Beach, VA $18-$25/hour (based on experience) Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to support the production of advanced systems used by the U.S. Navy. In this hands-on role, you will build and assemble complex electronic and electromechanical components, including cable harnesses, interface devices, and multi-rack systems. If you have experience with wiring, crimping, and working from schematicsand enjoy precision work in a collaborative environmentthis is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a high-reliability industry. Key Responsibilities Assemble electromechanical components, interface devices, and multi-rack systems (up to 3 racks per unit) Build cable harnesses (strip, crimp, terminate, and route wiring) Perform light soldering (through-hole and SMT); advanced soldering is a plus Assemble electronic enclosures and integrate connectors, wiring, and instrumentation Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions Conduct continuity checks and support system testing, including high-power test procedures Operate automated test equipment (DIT-MCO) for harness and continuity testing Inspect assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards Use precision tools (calipers, multimeters, ohmmeters) to verify measurements and functionality Document builds, test results, and discrepancies per company procedures Required Qualifications Experience in electromechanical assembly, cable harnessing, or electronics manufacturing Ability to read and follow technical schematics and drawings Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and wiring equipment (crimpers, strippers, etc.) Basic electrical knowledge (continuity, wiring standards) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualifications Experience with DIT-MCO or similar automated test systems Through-hole and/or surface-mount soldering experience Experience in defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability manufacturing Familiarity with multi-rack system builds or electronic instrumentation Why Join Us?
