CNC Machinist

Schedule: 5:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday Hourly pay: Up to $30 an hour, depending on experience. About the Role We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's manufacturing team. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work with CNC lathe equipment, contribute to quality production, and grow your machining career in a dynamic environment. What we are looking for: Required: High school diploma or equivalent Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales) Solid understanding of basic mathematics for production calculations Ability to meet physical demands: walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs regularly Preferred: Journeyman machinist certification (we value your expertise!) Experience with CNC programming and troubleshooting KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe equipment to produce quality parts Monitor production quality through basic charting and Statistical Process Control (SPC) Review and troubleshoot CNC programs to optimize efficiency Safely operate forklift equipment (license required or will train) Maintain accurate production records and daily reports Support additional projects as needed WHAT WE OFFER Stable, full-time employment with a growing manufacturer Opportunity to work with modern CNC equipment Collaborative team environment Room for professional development and skill advancement Once Hired In: Health insurance after 30 days when hired direct: PPO and High deductible.
