Pay: $25/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Overtime: 50-60 hours/week (includes weekend work) Position Overview We are hiring a Facilities Technician for an entry-level role with a clear path to becoming a Commercial Electrician . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while receiving hands-on training from an experienced onsite electrician. In this role, you will support all in-house electrical work, help power machinery, and assist with general building maintenance. Over time, you'll gain exposure to more advanced electrical work, including low voltage systems . Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems Help run power to machinery and equipment throughout the facility Support troubleshooting and basic electrical repairs Assist with general facility and building maintenance tasks Follow electrical safety standards and best practices Learn low voltage systems and assist with future installations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Top 3 Required Skills Mechanical & Electrical Aptitude - Strong interest in working with tools, electrical systems, or construction-related tasks Willingness to Learn & Grow - Eagerness to develop into a commercial electrician long-term Reliability & Work Ethic - Ability to maintain attendance, work early hours, and handle consistent overtime Additional Preferred Skills Basic understanding of electrical systems (circuits, wiring, voltage) Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Experience using hand and power tools Strong safety awareness (OSHA, PPE, lockout/tagout a plus) Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to handle physical work (lifting, climbing ladders, standing for long periods) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
