Fabricator/Welder

1st Shift Monday-Friday Overtime may be required based on production needs Pay Rate: Low 20's Monday - Friday 7 am-3:30 pm We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a growing metal fabrication team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding custom metal components used in industrial equipment and structural assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and producing quality welds in a manufacturing environment. The company performs custom metal fabrication, laser-cut components, ductwork, structural steel work, and industrial equipment manufacturing. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components according to specifications Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and other metals Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, presses, and other shop tools Measure, mark, and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met Assist with structural steel fabrication and custom manufacturing projects Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines Qualifications Previous experience in fabrication and welding required Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Experience with MIG welding required; TIG and Stick welding experience is a plus Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and shop equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and workmanship Reliable attendance and positive work ethic com138 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
