Clean Room Assembler Job Description The Clean Room Assembler performs a variety of production tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive, to assemble component parts into assemblies, sub-assemblies, or completed units by following clearly defined standard operating procedures. This role includes working in a cleanroom environment, using tools such as microscopes when required, and conducting quality inspections on the processing line to ensure all products meet established quality specifications. The position operates under close supervision, with all work reviewed for accuracy and any deviations from normal procedures approved by a supervisor. Responsibilities Assemble component parts into assemblies, sub-assemblies, or completed units by following standard operating procedures and documented work instructions. Perform both repetitive and non-repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency. Work in a cleanroom environment and follow all cleanroom protocols, including cleanliness, contamination control, and handling procedures. Use microscopes and other inspection tools as needed to assemble and verify small or detailed components. Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with established quality specifications and guidelines. Adhere strictly to all quality guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements relevant to the production process. Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications necessary to perform assigned tasks safely and effectively. Follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods when completing routine assignments. Notify the supervisor of any deviations from normal processes and obtain approval before proceeding. Work under close supervision and accept regular review of work for accuracy and compliance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility and cleanroom standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines. Essential Skills Experience in assembly or warehouse environments. Ability to follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and work instructions. Basic cleanroom skills, including adherence to contamination control and cleanliness standards. Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks with consistency and attention to detail. Capability to use microscopes and other basic inspection tools for small component work. Strong focus on quality and accuracy, with the ability to follow quality guidelines and specifications. Comfort working under close supervision with regular review of work. Ability to seek and obtain supervisor approval before deviating from established processes. Willingness to maintain required licenses, training, and certifications for the role. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a cleanroom production or manufacturing environment is beneficial. Familiarity with basic scientific or technical methods used in production settings. Ability to work effectively as part of a production team to meet shared goals. Strong organizational habits to maintain a clean and orderly work area. Work Environment This role is based in a cleanroom production environment with clearly defined standard operating procedures and quality guidelines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicopee, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.65 - $19.40/hr.
