MIG Welder Job Description As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating electric and gas welding machines to weld metal parts, primarily working with gator shield galvanized steel. Your role will involve MIG welding, with occasional TIG welding as needed. You will measure and set up jobs based on customer blueprints and specifications, ensuring quality standards by changing weld cups, electrodes, and other tooling. Additionally, you will clean parts of contamination before welding and perform quality inspections of finished welded parts. The materials you will predominantly weld include stainless steel, black iron steel, and aluminum, and you will be welding frames and grinding materials down as required.
