***THIS IS A TITLE 32 NATIONAL GUARD POSITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP***
This position is loced in the Logistics function of an ARNG Army Aviion Support Facility (AASF). This is an Army Nional Guard (ARNG) Dual Stus Technician position requiring military membership, compible military skill assignment, and classificion. The purpose of this position is to act as an aircraft mechanic with responsibility for certifying airworthiness and managing the operional readiness of one or more aircraft, and proficiency training of supported aviion unit personnel. Responsibilities include detailed technical oversight of individual aircraft's level of mission capabilities and operional readiness IAW Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA), Code of Federal Regulion (CFR) title 14 Part 43 rules governing the maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding and alterion of aircraft having a U.S. airworthiness certifice as well as guidelines and projection of maintenance requirements per the UH-72A Program Office to maintain individual aircraft operional readiness, ensuring aircraft meet airworthiness compliance as stipuled within the Army's UH-72A Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Plan (CAMP).
Manages, monitors or performs overall maintenance within the CAMP and FAA framework, servicing, inspections and documention for one or more highly technical, high performance UH-72A military aircraft. Performs work in complex conditions under time and/or mission constraints to include all weher and night operions.
Requests maintenance services exceeding AASF capabilities or time constraints. Controls and performs work assignments based upon priorities, workload availability of UH-72A parts, facilities, merial and personnel.
Maintains UH-72A aircraft under FAA and manufacturer guidelines and conducts inspections IAW Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance publicions and special inspection criteria as outlines in FAA, OEM and Army maintenance and safety messages. These include requirements of Aviion Maintenance Action Messages (AMAM), Aviion Safety Action Messages (ASAM) and any other reled FAA or Aircraft manufacturer requirement Field Level maintenance.
Plans, develops and conducts proficiency training during the technician work week to a multifaceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel. Sessions are designed to provide training in techniques of repair and maintenance of UH-72A aircraft and reled equipment.
Complies with safety, fire, security, environmental, and housekeeping regulions. Ensures merial and equipment are properly and safely maintained and protected.

MILITARY GRADE: E3-E6
Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective de of placement into the technician position to ensure to avoid grade inversion, as determined by the Human Resources Office (HRO). Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (Grade Inversion). Enlisted members currently a higher grade than allowed by the position (see Military Grade Requirement above) may apply; however, they must administrively reduce prior to appointment and provide confirmion of the reduction to HRO.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
In addition to journey-level experience or training equivalent to or exceeding the WG-10 or WU-10 grade level, positions this grade level may include performing duties as a dediced crew chief. Other positions may include responsibility for performing, coordining, and/or overseeing the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers. Some positions may include coordining the work of other journey-level workers in other trades to work simultaneously on the aircraft. Other positions may include serving as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and pneudraulic repairs of assigned aircraft.

-experience and/or approprie training acquired through OEM or military courses th would demonstre a thorough knowledge of the UH-72A aircraft systems and components in electrical, fuel, hydraulic, environmental and mechanical principles.

***THIS IS A TITLE 32 NATIONAL GUARD POSITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP***
This position is loced in the Logistics function of an ARNG Army Aviion Support Facility (AASF). This is an Army Nional Guard (ARNG) Dual Stus Technician position requiring military membership, compible military skill assignment, and classificion. The purpose of this position is to act as an aircraft mechanic with responsibility for certifying airworthiness and managing the operional readiness of one or more aircraft, and proficiency training of supported aviion unit personnel. Responsibilities include detailed technical oversight of individual aircraft's level of mission capabilities and operional readiness IAW Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA), Code of Federal Regulion (CFR) title 14 Part 43 rules governing the maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding and alterion of aircraft having a U.S. airworthiness certifice as well as guidelines and projection of maintenance requirements per the UH-72A Program Office to maintain individual aircraft operional readiness, ensuring aircraft meet airworthiness compliance as stipuled within the Army's UH-72A Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Plan (CAMP).
Manages, monitors or performs overall maintenance within the CAMP and FAA framework, servicing, inspections and documention for one or more highly technical, high performance UH-72A military aircraft. Performs work in complex conditions under time and/or mission constraints to include all weher and night operions.
Requests maintenance services exceeding AASF capabilities or time constraints. Controls and performs work assignments based upon priorities, workload availability of UH-72A parts, facilities, merial and personnel.
Maintains UH-72A aircraft under FAA and manufacturer guidelines and conducts inspections IAW Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance publicions and special inspection criteria as outlines in FAA, OEM and Army maintenance and safety messages. These include requirements of Aviion Maintenance Action Messages (AMAM), Aviion Safety Action Messages (ASAM) and any other reled FAA or Aircraft manufacturer requirement Field Level maintenance.
Plans, develops and conducts proficiency training during the technician work week to a multifaceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel. Sessions are designed to provide training in techniques of repair and maintenance of UH-72A aircraft and reled equipment.
Complies with safety, fire, security, environmental, and housekeeping regulions. Ensures merial and equipment are properly and safely maintained and protected.

MILITARY GRADE: E3-E6
Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective de of placement into the technician position to ensure to avoid grade inversion, as determined by the Human Resources Office (HRO). Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (Grade Inversion). Enlisted members currently a higher grade than allowed by the position (see Military Grade Requirement above) may apply; however, they must administrively reduce prior to appointment and provide confirmion of the reduction to HRO.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
In addition to journey-level experience or training equivalent to or exceeding the WG-10 or WU-10 grade level, positions this grade level may include performing duties as a dediced crew chief. Other positions may include responsibility for performing, coordining, and/or overseeing the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers. Some positions may include coordining the work of other journey-level workers in other trades to work simultaneously on the aircraft. Other positions may include serving as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and pneudraulic repairs of assigned aircraft.
