Mechanic, Mechanic II, Senior Mechanic

Experienced Mechanic needed for immediate hire.

AC Sweepers and Maintenance, Inc is seeking an Experienced, Full-time Mechanic for our parking lot and street sweeping operation.

Job Duties:

• Establish, schedule and perform required preventative and corrective maintenance procedures
• Experience in oil changes, mounting tires and light mechanical
• Review driver/operator reports of needed repairs
• Maintain accurate repair logs on all company trucks, sweepers and equipment
• Ability to accomplish work in a reasonable time frame
• Purchase, received and store shop supplies and sweeper/truck parts
• Diesel Mechanic experience is a plus
• Trouble-shooting and repair of Hydraulic and electrical vehicle issues
• Keep shop clean and orderly
• Job requires pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, hand & finger dexterity and being on your feet for long periods of time
• Be on-call for after-hour breakdowns
• Ability to use a cutting torch and/or weld is plus
• Compliance with all company safety and personnel policies
• Effectively communicates with owner, managers, drivers and operators both verbally and in writing

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must have a valid Georgia Driver License
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be 23 years old for insurance purposes
• High school diploma or equivalent, equivalent work experience, or combination thereof
• Must be able to work flexible hours and days. We are a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week company. Job requires 40 plus hours a week and overtime as necessary
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test. Random testing is also done.
