Kelly Services is seeking an experienced  CNC Machinist to join a Manufacturing facility located in Longwood, FL 32750.

The Machinist will operate various machining equipment (such as drill presses, CNC, precision, and lathe machines) to fabricate parts and tools essential for our production processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
	 - Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
	 - Listen for machine operation issues and adjust as needed (e.g., dull tools or excessive vibration).
	 - Change machine feed and speed, adjust tools, or correct machine programming errors.
	 - Stop machines to remove workpieces or change setups according to job requirements.
	 - Use general bench skills (assembly, disassembly, hand-held power tools, files, etc.).
	 - Safely lift workpieces to machines manually or using hoists or cranes.
	 - Calculate proper machine speed and feed ratios, and the size and position for cuts.
	 - Set up and operate at least one (or a combination) of the following: Vertical Turret Lathes, Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical/Horizontal Grinders, Horizontal Engine Lathes.
	 - Move materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment as required.
	 - Perform other duties as assigned.
	
Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required
	 - Apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty area preferred
	
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with CNC/manual machines, ability to read blueprints, use of measuring tools, and strong attention to detail.
	
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures (oral and written communication skills).
	 - Basic computer skills.
	 - Sound mathematical skills, including basic shop math.
	 - Practical problem-solving ability; able to handle non-standardized situations.
	 - Experience with equipment/tool use, blueprint reading, and measuring tools.
	 - Attention to detail; commitment to quality and safety.
	 - Technical familiarity with standard machining practices and creativity in approaching tasks.
	
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the machinist is regularly required to:
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, use hands and arms, and communicate.
	 - Occasionally lift or move items up to 40 pounds.
	 - Utilize vision abilities (close/distance/color/peripheral/depth perception/focus adjustment).
