Technical Service Tech

We're hiring a Service Technician to support decontamination and electromechanical systems for clients across the region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handson technical work, travel, and solving problems in the field. Salary: $65,000-$75,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday- normal business hours with occasional weekends and overtime Travel: 50% travel Company Location: Allentown, NJ What You'll Do: Perform decontamination projects and service equipment Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electromechanical systems Provide onsite customer training Respond to service calls, including emergencies Coordinate parts, materials, and preventative maintenance Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory Required: Experience with electromechanical systems (pumps, motors, blowers) Ability to diagnose electrical systems and PLC controls Strong troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Preferred / Strong Transferable Backgrounds: HVAC Electrical Pharmaceutical or cleanroom environments Field service or manufacturing experience Physical Requirements Lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance) Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, stand/walk for extended periods Must be able to use a fullface respirator or PAPR Why Join this company: Work with specialized, indemand technical systems Advancement opportunities (senior tech, leadership) Handson training and skill development Supportive, collaborative team IND8
